The Central Florida Research Park operates the water and sewer utilities for the Research Park. Potable water and irrigation connection fees are $1,400.00 per ERU and sewer connection fees are $2,900 per ERU. Usage rates are $1.44 per 1,000 gallons for water and $3.62 per 1,000 gallons for sewer. Utility connection fees must be paid before construction permits are issued. Progress Energy provides electrical service; TECO provides natural gas; and BellSouth, Sprint, Time Warner Telecom and TelCove provide fiber optic telecommunications.
